Well the masked ball was a hit this season. The weather threatened in the morning but it was a beautiful cloudless night for the ball. The ball startred with a special belly dance show which led the procession to the field where the ball was to take place. I did not get to make for the belly dancers as i was stil at my shop finishing masks and delivering masks. After i made my final delivery and got changed and my date changed we made our way acoss the field to the ball just in tume to see the fire dancers, spinners, and bloweres. One of the fire blowers was wearing a mask I had made for him in leather and he came up to me afterwards and said it rocked, he looked good in it. I made 10 custom masks on Saturday and my fingers hurt as I only work in leather. But back to the ball.
Once the fire show was over they opened the dancing up and various performers took the stage including Misstress Bawd and the headliner group the Brobdingnagian Bards performed with intermittant bouts of full period court dancing. I myself did not dance as I was otherwise occupied and have no rythm. THe food was most excellent and in copious amounts. My date really enjoyed ourselves talking an visiting with everyone who attended. I am sure otehr reviews will be posted by those attending later in the week.
NOW FOR SOME BIGGER NEWS IT HAS BEEN RUMORED coming directly form Andrew's mouth that the Brobdingnagian Bards will be back on our last weekend April 21 and 22 to perform. YAY But thats just a rumor though, or is it?
